Position Openings

The Liberal Party of Canada (BC)  is seeking applications for the positions of Executive Director and Director of Operations and Outreach.

The Executive Director and Director of Operations positions became vacant last fall after the onset of the leadership race.  Under the circumstances, the LPCBC executive decided to make interim appointments until the leadership convention had passed and the party was able to engage in a formal and open application process.  The party executive is grateful to Kimball Kastelen and Conrad Copeland for their work to date and their willingness to fill these roles on an acting basis.

Important Note:  Current duties of these two positions are listed below, however the LPCBC is also in the process of restructuring the party office and will be entering into an agreement with the national party office to transfer many administrative duties from British Columbia to the national office.  As a result, the successful applicants will be expected to assist with the evolution of the office positions and functions and may see some significant change to their job duties as the LPCBC focuses more on outreach, communication, fundraising and operational assistance and less on administrative tasks.
